Hurtz is going to have Mustangs so; Is there any way to rent a car at the age of 19? I dont agree with the rule of being 25 at all; most places will allow you to rent if youre 21 for a crappy charge. Isnt there a form or some kind of permission I can get from someone who is over 25 to vouch for me?

Having someone over 25 pick it up and just bring it to me isnt an option either.

Depends on your state (and city sometimes). Check their website. You will have to pay the charge, theres no way around that.

Most rental car companies will not rent a car to anyone under 25 because of that group's poor driving record, Sad but true. I don't know your domestic situation but if you can have your parents rent the car for youand make sure you're insured for it that could be a solution. Otherwise, I think you're out of luck.

I did manage to rent from Hertz when I was under 25, but I was traveling with work, and the car was under my company's name, not mine, so that's probably the only reason I was able to get it.

I rented at under 25, but I was over 21, and had to pay that fee. I also rented under 25 with my company...no fees, but I was on their insurance and dime too.

I was 22 when Budget hired me a Camaro vert for three months.....

When I went to LA in March, they wouldn't put my wife as a driver because she is under 25 :bang:

I think they make up the rules as they go along!

depends on the rental company, some won't do under 25 at all while some will just charge extra.
