Remember when not too long ago, people were stating that there is no way they would pay anything over invoice or never pay MSRP. Now we're at the point where people are happy to pay $500 over sticker as opposed to $4000 as some dealers are doing. It's just a bit humorous to me. I managed to pay $500 under sticker. Now looking at Karpro's thread about the price hike. My car with the options is about $3000 more. Times change and change fast.

the biggest dealer near me has been discounting with prices marked on the window - discounts of $400 on base V6 to $1400 on loaded GT. They had been trying to hold the line on MSRP but it didnt last after Christmas. Sounds like some southern dealers have been discounting all along. Imagine the deals a year from now at President's Day 2006???

That's the first I've heard of ANY dealer discounting GT's. Southern or otherwise.
I'll check the local dealer, but I'm pretty sure they're $1000 over sticker on the GT's.
