Redfire is classy
Torch red is a cop magnet- like yellow and orange. You will likely get nailed for something you didn't do because it just looks fast.

RedFire is my choice. We have a RedFire Coupe with Silver stripes (Hers) and my 07 on order is also going to be Redfire GT Vert.
I rented a Torch for a week from hertz and the color just did not do it for me. Too much orange hints for my taste. I like the way Redfire changes to various light conditions. Shines deep when I use the Turtle Wax ICE Syn Polish.

You won't regret the Torch Red (yes, I AM biased!). When I ordered my car, I was getting a lot of "but color xxx looks better" comments from friends and family. This all stopped after the car came in (with IUP and ICAP I must add)! It looked good sitting on the show room floor, but after the clay bar + Zaino's, it glowed! And everyone was then saying I made the right choice.
And I can safely say 15 months after taking delivery, I have NO regrets. At all. Period.

Torch Red is hot Redfire is also hot. If I were going to be pulled over I would rather be in a Redfire. Torch red does say please pull me over and please steal me. I had 2 other bright RED cars and they were both stolen on me.

When I first saw the color choices for the '05s on this website, I thought Redfire was the best one. I also liked Mineral Grey as an alternate. But when I saw them in the flesh, I didn't like either one. I don't like the way they look in certain lighting conditions.
I had wanted a metallic color. I love the way my Bright Atlantic Blue '98 has the depth to it. It was time for a switch from blue to red, but Redfire just doesn't do it for me.
My brother went with Sreaming Yellow for his '05. I like the way it looks, and got used to the non-metallic paint. I went with Torch Red on my '06 and I couldn't be happier. It looks great, especially with the polished 18" Bullitts.

Obviously biased but I love the Redfire. I had silver on order until a Ford Racing Event in Atlanta. When I saw the redfire my wife and I both just looked at each other and knew I had to change my order. It's a very deep color and looks fantastic with ICAP. In all honesty though, the color doesn't make the car. The car rocks, no matter what color you get. Make sure you look at both colors in a variety of lighting conditions before you decide, if it's not too late.

Dan - Sweet pictures of your Redfire! Now you've got me rethinking my color choice again!
I PM'd you on this but do you have the 255/45 tires on all 4 corners or just the rears? Have you done anything to the suspension or is that stock?

Suspension is stock but the 18's, 8.5" width and 255's really fill the gap. I'm very happy with the stock height. A noticeable improvement over my now winter "upgrade" rims which emphasize the gap more.
Thanks for the compliment by the way!

when I was buying mine, I was in a dealership where they had almost all colors in stock (all auto), I was staring them about 40 min, trying to decide which color I want.....a salesman approached and asked "you look confused", I said "I am ordering one of those and can't decide for the color" he said " I wish I had your problem"....bottom line, you can't really destroy this car with color. Torch red, redfire, or any other color, no matter what you choose, any time you sit in it you are going to smile and feel the luckiest man on earth
