Rebuilt Supercharger

Has anyone had any experience with rebuilt or refurbished superchargers? I am curious of the reliability and cost. Building a beast on a budget and trying to maximize every penny. I am curious if this could be a way to save a little green, or if it would turn into a money pit due to reliability issues?? Input?

Well after a day with no posts I guess no one has an opinion on this. Strange with all the people on this forum that no one has ever thought or looked into this.

Never looked into it myself Dave but if I were to I probably wouldn't purchase a refurb or "pre-owned" if you will unless I knew the source very well.

I would think it would be alright if the manufacture rebuilt it to facctory specs. I say go for it if you can save a couple hundred bucks
