Well, the rebate for April 1st-June 30th has been released on the Ford web site, and no change; still $1,500:

While this is still a fine rebate, the rumor of $3,000 didn't pan out.
HOWEVER
I did receive a flyer in the mail from Ford last week addressed to me personally with an eleven digit number, which states that I get an Exclusive offer from Ford for another $500. I am not sure if this is because I am a recent 2006 customer, or just a very good looking guy . Perhaps this is available for the asking? According to my flyer, this extra $500 is for retail customers only (no A, Z, or D plans), is not valid for the Shelby 500, and expires April 30th. If you are buying a new one this month, you might ask your friendly dealer about it.

 

last month Ford sent me a $750 off just for the asking which I added to the $1500 rebate on the GT I got last week..

 

I've been hearing about a few florida ford dealers selling their '08 mustang GT's for around $20k
At first I didnt believe it but looked into it and it is true.
