hi guys,

i get a weird groan/moan when i turn VERY SHARP or U-turn at slow very slow speed.

is this the clutch pack problem?

How can i add the amsoil friction modifier?

are all GT's stock carbon fiber clutches?

thanks!

1) yes, it is the clutch pack whining
2) don't spend the extra money for the Amsoil stuff, the $6 bottle you can get at your local Ford dealer is probably the same stuff. You can add it to the rear end by accessing the drain hole, on the front driver side of the differential. Just remove the plug, pour it in, done.
3) yes, as far as I know, they are carbon fiber clutches.

Clutch-pacs don't whine, they chatter or moan. Differential gear sets will whine or hum. There are 4 TSB's in the warranty and service issue section under the technical service bulletin thread. 2 relate to clutch-pac problems, 2 relate to gear problems.
