Really need advice, I might have to sell my mustang...

Hello everyone,

As soon as I get my black v6 back from vortech I was thinking about selling her within a month. It's an 06 pony package mustang fully loaded with leather, interior upgrade, automatic transmission, shaker 1000, and factory installed stripes. I need the cash and unfortunately I've hit hard times and need to leave grad school to support my mom with a fulltime job. I plan on taking over my mom's old SEL mercedes 1986 (yeah it's a friggin tank!!).

I've never seen a supercharged v6 this early for sale. I would like everyone's advice on what would be a fair starting point for price with a newly installed vortech supercharger with intercooler. At the moment Vortech still has my car for another few weeks or so. I really thought carefully about this and with the extra money I should be able to be comfortable until I find a f/t job.

I know I'm not a veteran of these forums and I don't have many posts to my credit, but everyone seems friendly and I would like some input on my situation. I'm really sad because I was so excited about everyone's enthusiasm for these cars. It's really hard right now, but i'm in survival mode. I'm proud of my mustang and I want to find her a good home. I've listed her in the for sale section, but would like input.

Thanks,
Mikey

One option is to try to sell Vortech and tune it back to stock to minimize your loss and depreciation. Keep in mind Ford is offering incentives for new V6s.

everything 1 bullitt said. and
You are starting high at $24,000 for the amount of competition you have with new vehicles on the market in L.A.. I would ask $22,500 because it will be harder for someone to buy the car new for that price with all of your options you have. Good luck.

Yeah,

I'm going to try that out. Definitely going to lower it.

Thanks,
Mike

Your doing a nice thing, your Mom is more important than a car. Ford will make lots of Mustangs ,but you only have one Mom.
