just got pulled over less then a block from my place on the way home from work, cop asked why I went flying by him, to which my response was "isnt the speed limit 45?" "yes" "I didnt think I was going much over that if at all, I am sorry" so he starts the usual license and registration deal, then asks if the pipes are stock because it is very deep, of course I say yes but admit my intake is modded, and this starts the car talk, long story short he owns a 97 GT and we chat for about 5 minutes about cars off and on as he still is asking questions to see if he should give me the ticket, my story and answers check out, license crystal clear (he checked), more stang talk, and then he warns me to be careful especially at night on a dark road because I cant see cops hiding and he can here my car from a mile away, he also mentioned he has seen the car before (recognized the plates), then he lets me go and tells me to have a good night.

 

lucky. they take one look at my SLP tips, and write the ticket. twice.

 

bummer, I have a similar setup just not through SLP.

 

Goes to show, cops are people too. And this one has good taste!
