Radio
Radio
I am aware that some Mustang have an aux input in the center console, however mine doesn't. (Not surprised). Is there any way I could hook up an aux input without changing radios? Or just get a new radio?
It might be better to get a new radio. You can all the functions you want that are available in the newer cars.

The link I posted is for an adapter that converts your cd changer control into a auxiliary port. I'm sure something similar can be found on eBay for less than 100. Good luck with your search! Please post or pm me if you have any questions.

I remember there was something available for the Skipper 500. A PIE adapter. If you do a quick search on ebay you'll find a couple. These seem to run ~$100. So you know what I'm gonna say: that's well on your way to a whole new head unit. You might as well upgrade. You can get "new" features (i.e. what most cars in the last 3 years have had standard) like
-USB input
-Sirius/XM compatibility
-HD radio
-bluetooth audio
-bluetooth phone hands free
-Aux input
-navigation
-sound enhancements like multi-band EQ, bass boose, loudness compensation, sound retriever (a Pioneer thing that enhances mp3's)
-you get the idea
Crutchfield has great instructions on how to install, excellent tech support, and they even throw in the mounting kit and wire harness you'll need to hook it up. for the $100-200 range you can definitely get bluetooth and USB
