Question Radiator Cover & Plastic Filler ???

What is the best material to use to fill in a couple of the fastener holes on the Radiator cover? I want to look at painting it, but I want to fill in the 2 push fasteners holes closest to the front of the cover. I have some Glazing & Spot Putty. Can this be used to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Sean

I'm not familiar with your glazing/spot putty, but if it fails, try: Dynatron bumper repair kit.

It's a two part epoxy-like substance that dries into a flexible black plasticy material.

Before it sets, it has the consistency of thick tar, which is not the easiest to work with, but just roughly glob on more than you need. Then use a power sander to bring it down to be flush with everything else.

I used it to make my custom LCD dash (see signature link for car-PC) in my car and also just recently used it to fill in a hole in my bumper.

Search eBay for "dynatron bumper repair" and you'll find it.

Just make sure you sand it down to a pretty perfect surface before painting - or use a good filler/primer to get any small bubbles/pinholes and sand to a perfect surface before painting. (emphasis on perfect.. painting a 95% perfect surface will make all the 5% imperfect surface look very obvious)
