Racing Stripe Paint Discoloration

I have the roush racing stripes on my white mustang, I was wondering if I took off the stripes if the paint that has been under the stripes would be different than the rest of my car. And if I wanted to take the stripes off how would I go about doing it?

Thanks

A local "Sign Shop" should be able to remove them with an eraser wheel (I hade one removed and replaced not long ago). More than likely, the longer they were on, the more the color would differ where the stripes were. Hey.... if you take them off, you can always tell people you have "Ghost Stripes", like they are ment to be there. May actually lok cool...

they are easy to remove with a heat gun. just be careful and take your time, and don't hold it too close for too long...
