The little info that I can give you is this. With a Procharger, being a Centrifugal type supercharger, you'll get a linear increase in hp and torque accross the rpm range, that is when rpms go up, so do torque and hp. With the x-charger, with it being an eaton style supercharger, you will get the torque pretty much right off the bat at lower rpms and typically will level off there after.
Traditionally, manual transmission cars are equiped with Centrifugal superchargers and automatics are equiped with eaton or roots style. That is not to say though that you have to go with those statements. They will work equally well on either one. Its all just a matter of what you want, and possibly how much you wnat to shift, not sure on that though.
I have a Vortech which is like the Procharger, and my mpg stays close to stock rated as long as I don't get too into the pedal on the right. Its hard not to though. And from what I've read, roots and eaton style s/c are the same way. I'm sure that more people will respond and you'll get even more info if anything I've said is inaccurate

I have the X and love it no problems at all and for a daily is just no match. I had a pro-ch on my last car and I had nothing but trouble with it, had to send it back 3 times and it was never fix.
