Hey first post here on this site but I have been reading for a while now. First of all I have to say that this site and the information that ive gathered from it has been excelent. Its to the point where I go in and talk to my salesman and know more about the car than he does B) . As for my question I went to my dealership today to find out more information on the status of my car. When I got there I got the privelage to talk to the inventory manager and he let me look at the system. My car had been picked up by ford already so he told me that it would be in the next line of production. He showed me the page for my car and it had the description of what was to be built. I also saw that there was a priortiy number and I vaguely remember reading in a post about this. I was just wondering if someone could give me a rough estimate as to how good priority number 15 is. Also my VIN is 6649. Thank you to anyone that can supply me with some info.


P.S. im getting a GT black ext., red interior, with the shaker 1000..... hopefully ill be turning many heads here in miami as I will be one of the first owners of a 05 stang down south

 

You should be getting a "Build" date soon if you have a vin which you do. Keep checking in (Once a week or so) with your dealer. The word from one of our dealer reps was that the next run of cars would'nt be till mid Oct, so it might be a little while till you get a hard date. As far as the priority code......That seems to be more important from a dealer standpoint than factory. Best is 10

 

I know this doesn't have to do with the topic, but bullittman when you get your car make sure and post lots of pics of it. I think that would be pretty much my exact car spoiler delete and all. Thanks!
