Just so you guys know the whole priority 10-99 thing doenst really matter all that much. Why? Because just about everyone who has placed an order for the car is priority 10 or 11. We are all priority 10 or 11. So it doesnt matter. Stop asking!!

I agree those of us who have gotten there cars are most likely a 10 or 11. Those that haven't gotten there cars and may never are a 99 or much higher number than 10. It is one of the factors to assess where you are in the order/build process. Factors contribute such as your dealers pecking order (10-99) along with factory parts allication and factory build rate all go into when you will see your Mustang.

I have to politely disagree with you. We currently have 7-8 unfilled Mustang orders in our order bank. They are prioritized up to about a priority 16 or 17 currently. This is the only thing that will ensure each order gets pulled in the proper order. For the dealers only dealing with one special order, you're right the priority is almost meaningless. For dealers like us who have anywhere from 50-100 sold orders (among all our different vehicle lines) in the order banks at all times, priority codes are crucial.

Karpro, the priority among different models is like mixing apples and oranges. if you have 20 trucks ahead of me that has nothing to do with building my Mustang. It's the manufacturing facility not the entire brand that is a factor. I know if you take 40 extra taurus sedans you might get 3 extra Mustangs but if the Mustangs are limited (as the production is currently flowing) I as a buyer are only concerned with how many you have ahead of me and your allication.

Upstate, if he has 10 Mustangs ahead of you, and he only has 3 allotments per month, then the priority code is critical in determining who gets their car first.

I was a priority 20 (2nd guy to order) and got my GT last week w/ IUP & Rear spoiler

My dealer had 6-8 sold Mustangs & 2-3 stk orders.

I disagree, I was a priority 19 and then a 13. Never a 10 or 11.

Definetly, but within each of those model lines we have to set prioirties and these are extremely important, within model lines, in determining who's first, second, etc..

You are incorrect. If the dealer has 10 orders, and they are from 10-19, but with only 3 allocation, and you were the last order, you have a problem, because you are going to have to wait til the first 7 are built and sold before you even get a spot to be built.

Or perhaps Arvil is missing the most important fact of all for today. IT'S THANKSGIVING! Stop getting bent over small details.

KARPRO I don't care what my number is.All I want is to see my GT in Late March/ Early April. Not sure if I told you but the dealer I purchased the first one from went up to 2500 above sticker after I picked my GT up.

How do you find out what you priority code is? Is it listed on your DORA or is it information from your ordering dealer?

Yea get the order confirm sheet. There are probably too many orders right now to really get a good estimate of when it will come in. My last Mustang was qouted 8 weeks exactly but came in 5 weeks right to the day.
