Pricing and Dealer Mark up
Hi, I'm considering buying an 05 GT Premium. I'm military stationed in Germany and can order the car from the factory through Military Car Sales which has a pre-negotiated price with Ford (no haggling). I got a qoute yesterday of $27,473 on a standard transmission, with the upgraded machined wheels, active anti theft system, interior upgrade, front side airbags. Price includes overseas delivery and $500 rebate from Ford. Best thing is I pay no sales tax because I'm in Germany (I will have to pay a used car sales tax once I return to the States). My question is, am I crazy not to buy it at this price? Is this indeed a good price or are dealers doing mark up because of demand? I leave Germany about a year after I get the car and will have to ship out of pocket but I can't resist the lure of running it on the autobahn for a year... Help!!!!
how much would it cost to ship it? i reckon a few hundred to a thousand at least. it all depends on if thats worth it for you.
mustang? on the autobahn
wave to the Porches, BMWs, Mercedes and such as you pass them by for me
BTW take a passenger with a camcorder, i wanna see this :P good luck
and welcome to the boards

I've ordered (1/28) a Torch Red GT Convt through ENCS and when it gets built they will ship to Stuutgart, Germany where I'm stationed. I'll have to pay shipping home too but will have fun on the autobahn. $1000 is a ballpark figure for ship back to states, I'm paying for the ship over but through FORD/ENCS. Good Luck
