Wasn't job 2 the second car made after job 1? I am not sure, I thought job 1 only referred to the very first car off the line.

hmmm, not sure what u mean ace0215, once the price list is out that's pretty much it until next year, as I understand it. Job 1 will be in a museum, most likely, and the first 10 or so are designated for execs usually, so they are really telling us the price on the cars they're planning on selling.

Job 2 is when the convertible goes into production, which should be sometime early next calender year (still MY '05). As far as prices, I wouldn't expect any price increases on the coupes at job 2, unless Ford offers any additional options from what's available at job 1. As far as pricing for the convertibles, they will be higher than the coupes, but we don't have that information yet.

Hello,

The prices are subject to change at any time. We've already had our first price increase on most of our 2005 product. Not unheard of to have 5-8 price increases throughout the year. When you see pricing at price level code 515, that refers to a particular price level. As we have price increases, the level code increases, 520, 530, etc... That explains why three indentical vehicles on a lot can have three different MSRP's. Just depends on when the vehicle was invoiced to the dealer.

Thanks for the info Paul, I was wondering what the price level 515 on my order confirmation screen was. Didn't want to start a new thread for that.
But as always I get all the info I need on this site, thanks to knowledgeable people like you.

So I see that the price list we all have from this site is price level code 515. When would this possibly change?

We discussed this before, if you do a search you can find it.

Basically Job 2 is when there are changes that effect the order guide.

Ongoing price changes and production changes can occur at any time w/o being Job 2 or 3. It is a VERY rare event to see a Job 3.
