When I saw the 05 this past Saturday, I noticed the entire brake system painted silver/plated? Not only is the appearance better but should help corrosion/ rust. Anyone have any idea what this might be? 2 mustangjohn?

 

they do that on the display models because no one likes to see rusty rotors or dirty calipers.

They did the same thing on the display car in Barrie Ontario

 

its just new, it will rust over time. You can get zinc plated rotors relatively cheap that do not rust.
