IUP rate went up 10% from the 9/1/04 version.

Doesn't it seem like a more than 10% difference in demand would cause all the IUP delays???

Does anyone see any differences from the prior edition other than higher expectations for IUP ordering and addition of convertibles to overall production mix????

What's all this about a price increase? I have a longtime friend of the family that works at Ford in Michigan that said he could get me a deal and I was getting ready to call him and see if I can parlay that into an X-plan price on a Mineral Gray GT. Are the prices going up this month, and is this a definite? Do I need to place my order ASAP to avoid paying more than what's shown on the price list posted on this website? I've already read the FAQ to determine how to figure out X-plan price. Any added info is appreciated...

Looks good, but I thought White was going to be an option for the Vert top. Anyway... Anyone have the Canadian Order guide ?

Notice that on the recommended dealer ordering mix, Ford now lists 60% for IUP (used to be 40%) and they recommend 20% for the new ISAP. So Ford is now estimating that 80% of Mustang customers will want some form of an interior upgrade.

On the other hand the recommended ordering for the ICAP (red leather seats) has been dropped from 10% down to 5%, so it sounds like the red seats aren't popular. I wonder if they will be dropped or replaced with something else for 2006.

Shaker 500 mix has gone up to 54% (was 20%)

V6 ABS & TC up to 57% (was 5% - but 5% sounds low, like a mistake)

Side air bags 15% (was 10%)

V6 Sport appearance package is down to 30% (was 60%)

And finally, the GT ordering % is up to 63% (was 38%).

Seems like Ford has made some major changes in its model / option sales estimates.

9/1/04 vs 12/1/04 on cover page.

GT - 32% vs 20% (totals)...add in convertibles, 32% vs 38%
Added Convertible %'s for V6 and GT, other numbers adjusted.
IUP 18G- 50% vs 60%
ISAP 18R (new) - n/a vs 20%
Shaker 500 and 1000 %'s didn't change.

The only other changes are on pages 1, 5, 6 & 8 addressing the new ISAP (Interior Sport Appearance Package) 18R.

I believe you are too late. New prices are already in effect.

I ordered one for a customer today and price level code 515 still applies. I'm not sure when the new price list will come out or whether there will be an increase or not. About half of the vehicles have the level 530 price lists out.

Karpro, are you a dealer? Is there any chance you can find out when the V6 manual will start being built?

I would REALLY appreciate it.

Thanks...

I don't currently have any V6 manuals on order, but according to last weeks commodity report they are currently scheduling them. If I'm not mistaken, they were scheduled to start this week.

I finalized my order today and it was still price code 515. Ordered it through fleet but I don't think that makes any difference.
