Anticipating my car coming this coming week, so a couple things. I'll start with this one. Can somebody please paste all the price codes and when they took effect. I ordered early on, so I don't want the dealer to hose me using current price codes which are higher. So like a list of price codes and dates would be oh so great. Thanks peoples!!

Hope this helps. Your DORA will have the PL that it was ordered under and the invoice will have the PL that it is being built out at. if there is a difference, the delaer will AUTOMATICALLY receive price protection after the vehicle is reported sold as long as the selling name is IDENTICAL to the name it is ordered under. The only thing there is no price protection for is freight and the dealer advertising fund which also just went up.

 

I don't know the exact dates, but I believe there were have been three different price schedules so far. I ordered my car under 540 (second one) and I think 555 is the current one. I had a bit of static from the dealer when I went to pick up the car - he wanted to charge the current 555 prices. I reminded him that the order was placed under 540 as a sold vehicle and the order had not been changed in any way so it should have been price protected at the 540 level. I did not have a DORA - the dealer claimed that because of the new computer system they used they [the dealer] didn't get them. I did however have a VOC with the price code of 540 and the agreed upon price of the car. Once I showed them the VOC, they agreed that the price should be at the 540 level and made the corrections. Thanks to TMS I was aware of what should be correct, but had I not known I would have ended up getting stuck with the higher price.
