Power windows not working

Both power windows quit working. Replaced drivers side switch. Still nothing. All fuses and relays were replaced and am getting power to the window motor. Anyone have any ideas on what to check?

If you have power at the motor when the switch is put in the up or down position, try the ground. It might be a common ground somewhere for both window motors that is corroded or broken.

Welcome to the forums!

Thing is, BRD, the power is always on if the key's on to the motor, so getting power doesn't mean it's getting signal to do anything. Although absolutely check grounds is the right first call. Now, be aware I'm not tryin' to stomp on ya, just... yeah, I miss the olden days of my '66 Thunderbird where the switch ran the motor directly. These fancy dang cars with their smart devices these days... And it's gettin' worse too. Can't just check for power anymore.

Anyway, OP, here is the wiring diagram for the power windows in this year car.
https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=40&f=Power%20Windows.pdf

In there you can see the motor gets power from key on, all the time hot. The switches then send the signal to go up or down and whether it's auto or not. Three signal wires. There's also a signal from interior lighting that tells the window to short drop to open, and then two signals from the Smart Junction Box that will disable the smarts if the car is being started, which will stop the window using power. All power to the starter, don't'cha know.

So the things to check is do you have signal from the SJB that's always on, or is the window switch signals getting to the window, and of course, the grounds. Which in this case for the driver window is G204.
https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=40&f=Ground%...on%20Index.pdf
That's the grounds list, G204 is under the kick panel...

As shown in this diagram.

So. You got some testin' to do with a power probe, multimeter and/or test lamp. Be careful, don't fry things by accident. I know I might.

I hope that helps! Good luck!

Since I didn't have the wiring diagram, at least I was partly right. LOL
