Powder Coating Cam Covers

I'm about to get a set of cam covers powder coated. I have removed the plastic inserts, but I've noticed what seems to be a piece of green silicon or rubber type material that seals a tube to baffle on the inside of the right cover, and it appears to not be removable. To those of you who have done this, did you remove this or did the powder coating baking process not affect this piece.
