I looked at that site a long time ago (stripes). I thought it would be neat to get silver stripes on white. Kinda like ghost stripes.

I guess the railcar dropped of my car in Titusville sometime during the night. The railcar is heading back north EMPTY. I called the dealer to give him an update (hope I'm not bugging him too much). He said he'll be watching for it.

I'd like to bet you, but I feel the same way... "by midnight tomorrow". Today is too soon, Wednesday is too late.

They told me a tech goes over the car and they detail it. (I told them no wax). Wonder how long from the time it backs off the truck until I can drive it home?

Did they inspect your cars at the dealer that you know off? Did they drive them?

Back off the truck to you driving home... maybe 2-3 hours?

I believe they all go through a Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI). (see attached)

No, really, they were going over it in detail when we got there. Then the saleslady went over it and through it with us, got the detailer to come out and buff and touch up some areas and inspect, etc. She gave us a "We OWE" form with some notes on it about the bubbles in the paint. I guess that is their way to keep up with warranty needs.

My steering wheel needs alignment. It's a little off [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif[/img]

I miss my compass and thermometer. Have y'all seen aftermarket add-ons? I think I saw a self-dimming rear-view that had one or both of these.

 

Tom , I have a feeling , you will be driving it this week. Good Luck!!!!. I hope that they can get my car on a train this week. They told me the 9th. I took the 9-11th off from work. Actually this is perfect timing if the car arrives on time. The weather is gonna be great this weekend in the Northeast. 60 degrees. Winter is OVER !!!
