A-Plan
Hey Guy got a question for those of you that have recently bought a GT. How much is A-plan on well equipt GT now? I usually lease f150's and I know there is a big saving there. Just curious how much you saved on A-Plan. I know it may be different from year to year but just gives me an idea.
Love this site Brad! Great Job!
Thanks, Jason

A-Plan is Ford Employee pricing (and it also extends to immediate family: spouse, parents, siblings, children). Z-plan is the same pricing, but just classified as "Z" for retirees (my dad is retired but I still get the discount... good times...)
Also- it's at a dealer's discretion whether or not they give you the discount. But I've only encountered 1 that wouldn't do it.
This site is a great resource for checking on A Plan pricing... it's a metro Detroit Ford Dealer- and since competion is so strong there, they actually post the pricing online:

Just hit the "A/Z Plan Pricing here!" link & make your selections.
Right now, A-Plan seems to lop off a whopping 3k off of the MSRP of a Mustang GT! And I always assumed the Mustang was a low-profit vehicle. By comparison, my SVT Focus came in at less than 2k under sticker. Trucks, on the other hand, have a huge markup of 5-6k...
I'm not anticipating a 3k cut on the 2005 Mustang GT, since i'm sure they're going to take less of a profit in order to keep the car at roughly the same price point as the current model. But I really have no idea...

Initially, they will be making $3000 for than the current because they won't be offering rebates. So, even though the MRSP won't change much, the profit will be higher. I am sure eventually the sales will slow and the rebates will appear.
Yeah fortunately I can get either A or Z.. That's one of the reasons I have always leased f-150s is because of that big savings on the trucks.
$3000 is a big chunk especially in the beginning when there will be no incentives.
Thanks for the info guys :-)
