I really wanted to get my 05 in Silver, but I keep coming back to blue. I drive around in a true blue stang now, and it is such a awesome color, however it is such a chore to keep clean, like black it shows all the swirl marks and sratches, so I said next stang is going to be silver, that is until I saw the sonic blue, now I want blue again.

Redfire for me. I have had several black cars and silver and red Mustangs. The Red looks just as awsome as black when waxed up and clean plus none of the frustrations of keeping it spotless. I think Redfire looks slightly diffeent as the sun hits it too for a nice effect.

You're completely right. Red and black look amazing clean and waxed. I guess you could say they have the largest "dirty to waxed" improvement. I'd give my left nut and $100,000 for a waxed red car (anyone see without a paddle?).

Only difference is, overall red is more forgiving (when its dirty, when your washing it...spots etc.) and you can still make out the design cues.

Well I thought I wanted black. There's a plethora of black mustangs on the road here, and after the weekends lovely weather, every speck of mud on em shows like neon.
GRR! I have luxury and time to wait. Don't want white, but thats the one thats simple as pie to keep clean. Don't wanna wait either, but I have no choice, by the time Eleanor comes to live here, the spring sales event will be in force.

I'm getting Satin Silver, though when I ordered it I thought that Satin Silver was the same as the Titanium car in the pics. I like the other Silver cars I see on the road... easy to keep a clean look and seems a bit classy even. I'm tired of the "dirt and hard water spot" showing darker colors (My truck is deep wedgewood blue).

That said, if I wasn't getting Silver, I'd have to go with the Sonic Blue (love it). - Hey Sonic Blue with Satin Silver stipes would look awesome!

I didn't realize that the Blue presented the same problems with swirls as black, though it makes sense. I've never owned a blue car, at least not one that I cared to keep clean. I've decided on most of the colors at one time or another. The only thing I am sure of is that I want Le Mans stripes from bumper to bumper. I just love the Titanium/Silver combo at the shows, but I may just go with my original idea. White, blue stripes, dark charcoal interior. Simple and classic, but will it look too retro/corny/hoakey? Should stand out in a crowd, but is it too "look at him, he thinks he's a racecar"?

What's wrong with thinking you're a racecar? As long as you don't number it and put a bunch of sponsor logos on it, it'll look fine.
Mustangs + stripes =

Hmmm....number 98 (as in Cobra), tons of sponsor decals, exhaust straight out the sides... Would that be ok on the V6 car? Maybe a giant double wing on back? Maybe not. I think stripes are pushing it, but I can't resist. Thanks for your comments.

Hey, these little face things are kinda fun!

Yellow --warmth, sunshine, cheer, happiness - Couldn't be farther off
Purple --royal, spirituality, dignity - Couldn't be more correct

Funny, cause I want "mystic" details on my car, give it a little future to go with all the past i'll be throwing at it. Hopefully my mixture will blend right and the car won't look like a Hot Wheels car.
