This is the strangest thing, my last 3 cars were a V6 mustang, a 4cyc. Accord, and now a V8 05' and it's still the same, I have to fill up once a week. I must admit though, that since I got my GT, I havn't been up to my regular driving routine. I am now so I will see how long my latest fill up last. The trip computer reads 17mpg.

Oh, and 87 octane btw. I actually put $15 in today with only one pump kickoff. Of course I was holding the boot completely up while pumping too.

87 octane all the way. It runs like a raped ape on 87, and it's cheaper. That being a good point as it's not the best on gas mileage.
BUT, if you wanted good gas mileage, you wouldn't be buying a Stang now wouldja?

87 octane - avg 24 mpg. I would not say it is a gas guzzler. That is better than the 18mpg my 97 GT got, the 14mpg my Jeep liberty got and the 21mpg my 2000 Grand Prix GT Supercharger got.

The '05 is using about 1 liter/100Km more than my '03 GT was. But it does get up to 60 km/h (or 80, or 100) quicker than the '03 did!
