new tint on windows saturday evening, and i need to take the car to the dealer for a couple of things on monday. the window tint guy suggested not rolling the windows down for 3-5 days so i figured i might disable the window switch.

They will be getting the car about 36 hours after the tint was completed - am i being a little paranoid? or should i do more. i know sometimes the service people are more interested in getting the job complete than making sure my tint stays pretty

Did you do the moleskin for the inner window channels? You should be okay, but otherwise be prepared for scratched tint.

 

Not rolling the windows down in that time period has nothing to do w/scratches. They're concerned w/ the tint moving on the thin layer of liquid it was placed with.

Jeff, you're in Tampa. If you've parked in the sun, you'll be fine.

 

You should be fine after an afternoon in the sun. 24 hours will get you 90% of the way there. As mentioned, scratching isn't an issue...it's peeling you need to worry about.

 

You'll be fine. I rolled mine down after a day and a half, and there's no bubbling.
