Painted side vision mirror covers

Just got the side vision mirror covers repainted from the original black plastic. it was simple to remove the interior covers unbolt and unplug the electric controls paint and re-install.

That looks pretty good, I decide myself just to go with the mirror insert covers because I like the silver and black contrasting each other, but the whole side mirror painted looks clean too.

Man, beautiful.

You gotta link for those?

Whatever brand they are, those are the ones for me.

I mean the whole thing including the part closest to the window/door is painted.

I'll calm down now.

The only person that I knew that made those was Dg Custom auto?

see it here :

https://www.dgcustomauto.com/display...&categoryId=65

I have had trouble getting on their site several times though.

Not sure about their rep either.

It's good to have choices though.

This mod is really working on me.

It just looks right.

Thanks for the post

How did you paint them? Or did you take them to a shop? Do you have to sand the surface before painting? I love the idea and bet it would look great on my Legend Lime.

That looks great! I did the covers on mine because it was easy and I don't know any good paint people in my area.

Sorry for completely missing the info about this being a DIY job on the mirrors.

It looks completely professional.

Can you give us a walkthrough on the process?

thanks

Hey nice stang mate, I looked at the half covers but would have cost big money with exchangr rate and air freight, This worked out a lot cheaper and looks twice as good.
