Paint Protection or not?
Also,
same goes for that "interior protection" crap. I feel like a dodo 'cause I let myself get talked into it last time. Never again!!!
I think all they do is spray Scotch Guard or some equivalent on your seats (I had the cloth). WHAT A RIP-OFF!!!

There are plenty of products that are excellent, less expensive, and you can apply yourself. I know your dealership and salesperson!! Tell him "no paint protection", " no dealer labels" (think he already probably mentioned that), "no run it through the car wash", "don't take the dealer prep materials off without you there", "NO FRONT LICENSE PLATE BRACKET!!!!".

Bracket, I was undecided about that so they will do nothing until I get there and tell them. OK, I see the CAPS...I did not think of the car wash and prep materials. Another phone call...poor guy!
GRRR! My wife talked me into the paint protection/ interior protection deal. However we were in such a hurray when we were picking it up, they didn't do it yet. I have to drop it off tomorrow to get it done, but we've already done all the financial paperwork. Any chance of getting it taken off or am I locked into it at this point because I've already paid for it?
Update. Took the car into the dealer, talked over the price of my ducktail install and told them I didn't want the paint or interior protection and they're going to refund the price.
Wow. When you guys said this is a rip, I freaked. I freaked anyway when they said they were 400 bucks each originally! But I figure it's worth it if it keeps my baby looking good. Only to find out I was getting hosed to the tune of $800...wow. No thanks. So now I'm relieved. And not out 800 bucks, thanks to you guys (and girls!).
I love TMS!!!!
