Paint on bumper didn't match
Anybody else have an issue with paint not matching. My front bumper didn't get enough paint from the factory. Had to bring it to the body shop. Luckily they only needed two days to fix it. Otherwise I couldn't be happier with the car.
Bumper covers are normally a type of eurothane (sp?). The plastic absorbs paint differently than the sheet metal that surrounds it. They rarely are a perfect match, but many are nearly unnoticeable. Take a look at any light colored 2000-2001 Camry and you'll see what I mean. They keep getting worse over time. But you can take a spray gun, go directly over the fender and on to the bumper cover and when it dries, many times you'll be able to tell the difference. Glad the shop resprayed yours to get it to match!
