I had ordered a Screaming yellow GT.


Some things I don't like is:
it can be so bright as to wash out some style lines,
Taxi references
it can be a hard color for people to accept.
some people say it attracts bugs, my wife wouldn't like that.

Things I like:
Boldness
Uniqueness
Shows off the shape of the car and its blacked out areas well.
Contrasts well
says here I am and I don't mind you knowing it


Should I get Striped and what color.

I will make up my own decission but I would like to hear other mustang fans opinions.

Pics of your car would be nice.

 

It does say "LOOK AT ME!" and that's cool. I like yellow on this body style. As far as stripes... gotta go with silver on yellow. It's one of those combos that sound but ugly until you see it. I love it though. It's a hot combo.

I have seen a few screaming yellow mustangs in Edmonton. They do scream "look at me." If you consider adding a couple black racing stripes to the mustang the colour will be toned down a bit.

 

i think the black mustang also hides alot of styling lines way more than the yellow. i wish they had competition orange, i loved that color. made me want a mach1

 

The only other yellow car I had was a 1968 VW squareback.
That car is not even close to a mustang, and I didn't buy it for being yellow, I bought it because it was only $150.00, ran great though.

I had or technically still have a Red 1978 King Cobra so I didn't want to go bright Red again.

I don't know about the silver stripes, I would like to see it in person.

 

Go for the gusto! I thought of getting yellow myself, but Vista Blue was screaming for me. I like yellow. I think getting some of the more rare colors is cooler than say black, silver, or grey which are the most common colors.

 

Love screaming yellow. It was my second color choice.

Had to go back to black, though.

 

I had an 01 GT vert in yellow and an 04 GT vert in yellow. Got black this time to appease my spouse. Next time yellow again unless they come our with competition orange.

I have a Steelers fan here were I work that is busting on me for wanting a Yellow w black strips car.

I tell him I don't know too many people that pick the color of their car bases on their favorite sports team.

Besides I have a kelly green and silver blazer, but I didn't pick the color it was just a good buy.

 

We have a LOT of yellow with black out here because of the Iowa Hawkeyes.

 

Is there any other color BUT yellow?

I love adore, and get all jolly on all the attention I draw out on the roads. Would never drive anything else. And to think I was stuck on Silver before Eleanor rolled off the truck.Yellows IT!
