What, a new "Charger"? Ew. A 1969 Charger? Ok by me.

That new "Charger" is not. It's a Diplomat, or maybe a Dynasty, or even an Aries, but it's no Charger.

And no, I don't count them four bangers as Chargers either.

A Charger is a 2 door, 4-5 passenger, RWD, big v8 motored 4-5 speed most awesome. Not a 4 door. And certainly not a 4 door with Chrysler/Mitsubishi hind quarters. The Charger should have nice lamp bars going across the rear, like the '99 show car. Not this "whatever" design.

So please don't get a new "Charger", or I'll lose respect for ya April. Nobody wants that!

/Can ya tell I'm not happy with the name "Charger" bein' applied to that thing? Really? Dang, not subtle enough...

//But they do have Go-Man-Go. Righteous color. But have you seen their LACK of interior colors? Sheesh.

That's almost as bad as Pontiac calling that grand am/sunfire look-a-like a GTO. What were they thinking?

My buddy Luc owns a high-end body shop. He bought a new '05 GT, disassembled it and painted it grabber orange. It looks very cool.
He just ordered a “Cammer†crate motor to put in it, should be wild!
Here are a couple of low res snaps.

Nice looking car. That doesn't look like Grabber Orange to me (Which is more like school bus yellow). I'm hoping for that color in a future stang.

I LOVE IT! ORANGE IS AWESOME! THOSE PIX ARE WAY COOL!

That is one amazing looking ponycar. Dang! How's that for an endorsement? I cannot think of a better name for that color than "Grabber Orange!" Thanks for posting. You've got my vote for sure...

In my darlins defense:

Hes 6'4 or so.... In my car his legs rest on the dash and he hates the lack of room that brings him-so I can't talk him into an 06 mustang. He wants a bigger car- and I thought a charger was lesser of the evil of a gran prix.

I too agree the only charger is the general lee variety-but this 300 mated with a magnum Dodge is coming out with is ORANGE!!!!.....

Yah that isn't Grabber Orange. As you said Grabber Orange is more of a yellowish color. Not school bus yellow but somewhat close.

That is still a gorgeous orange none the less.

Well, if I take pictures of mine with my wife's camera, it looks orange instead of torch red.

Here is a picture with her camera ( before I put on the stripes )

And this with my camera ( and after the stripes )

I'd be happy if they brought back Performance Red.

hawgman - your white balance is off between the 2 cameras. Some digital cameras have a white balance adjustment on them.

I've been studying all the orange applications of the '05 on this thread.

I gotta say it really works. Never even considered it before seeing this thread.

Too bad it's not a factory offered colour.

I think I found a car with the color I want on it ... the new lambos the Mercialago. btw I am not even attempting to spell that right. But I saw one in my neigborhood in orange and it was an amazing color. The guy was real nice ... he let me sit in it and rev the motor.
