Only 260 HP for 06 GT Convertible?
#1
I was just looking at the Mustang site on the Ford page and in the Build & price your own GT Convertible it says in Bold letters "260 horses make driving a breeze." ? What happened to 300hp for the GT? Has something changed or please tell me that it's just a typo on some Ford web site guys part.

That's probably all it is, just a cut and paste screwup. I'd be surprised if Ford would post the real at the rear wheels HP if it is only 260HP after saying in all the literature that they have 300HP. If they've noticed it yet somebody at Ford is probably getting yelled at. It'll be interesting to see how long that stays on the site.

Either a typo, 04 info, or RWHP. They're not downgrading the engine, I'm sure of that.
