I think I saw a post about this car a few months back on one of the other sites. If I recall correctly, the car was inspired by the Mustang II Cobra. I like the look and it's nice to see there's something under the hood to back up the "cobra" name.

WoW, that is the biggest knock off ever!

Saleen supercharger with SVT focus baging.

Photo chopped certificate, only problem is that by the time this car would have been built Tau Tang had taken over SVT, therefore Colletti would not have signed the Cert. I know, I have a Coletti and a Tau Tang Cert for my 04 Cobra.

How is this car faster than the roush and saleen

The roush is a roots type SC which is less efficient than the twin screw in this car.

The stock Saleen runs a conservative psi resulting in just over 400 hp.

This car has more HP than a stock supercharged roush or saleen, unless I'm mistaken.

This quote ;

"Twin screw 2.3L Lysholm supercharger (mounted between the heads, blows upwards into intake)"

shows its a Saleen blower they're the only one with that setup, as far as being faster than the Roush or Saleen a better tune can do that.

So sad they're pawning it off as a Cobra when clearly its a knockoff.

That is an EXCELLENT point. Strange how this auction has none of the Q&A most "unqiue" car auctions have. The guy's website is online and someone could email him this thread, would be interesting to see what he has to say.

I can't understand how Roush can make a mustang with just a sticker package, Saleen can make one with such wishy-washy mods for such big bucks..NOT TO MENTION the CV-6 Shelby (6 cylinder) that is for sale now...How can you take all those other ones and blast him? Let's not forget all the 'regional' mustangs out there...North County Special, Dale Jarret Edition...etc.

Geez, there are people on here that make GTO owners look like pacifists. I don't get the big deal. The guy did a great job. SVT gave him an honrary certificate. He stated it was given because it so impressed them. He's not saying it's a real production cobra. He stated it was a 1 of 1. He never stated it was real just "what SVT could have built"

So..If I put out 40k for the new V6 Cobra that Shelby is selling now...I must be really cool...cause it's real?

This whole deal is bogus.

Graycobra2003 is either stupid or a shill.
Graycobra has made 20 bids, 11 of which have been to up his own prior bid.

I smell a rat.

On the bid issue brought up by V10. What happens is bidder A puts in a max bid for $100 and the current high bid is $50. Then bidder B puts in a max bid of $60 and then $70 and then $80 and then $90 and then $100 and then finally becomes the high bidder at $110. eBay will show bidder A as bidding 5 times in a row as the high bid goes up from each unsuccessful attempt by bidder B to become the new high bidder. It looks screwey when you look at the bid history but basically it just shows that a particular bidder bid up the price in small increments so that their max bid is more or less equal to the current high bid amount.
