Im very interested to know the percentage of old orders that are x-plan vs how many are way above x-plan selling price. this might be very interesting and maybe explain why a lot of us cant get a car built.

Ford doesn't know if a car is on a plan or not. If the dealer is being a scumbag and changing your priority, that would be the only reason for a plan to be delayed longer than a "regular" order.

Thanks,

Oh, yes they do, oh great one - dealers assign an order type when they place the order on Ford's system. "1" is a retail sold order; "Z" is a Z-plan order; "X" is an X-plan order; etc. I've seen several DORAs on this site that show the different order types, so Ford definitely knows whether or not an order is on a plan or not. I don't think it matters, however; as I believe the mysterious allocation system and priority number (along with commodities) is what drives which orders get pulled when.

Consider myself very lucky....7 weeks from date of order to having it in my driveway for X plan. Glad it came in "right under the wire" for the plant to go on Easter shutdown.

See sig.......

Great pics - I love the color, just like mine.

But come on, you do own a vacum/shop vac or something to clean the floor and mats.

No, they do not know. That information is not received when an order is pulled. It is available to the dealer at any time, but Ford doesn't pull that information with the order.
