Old Industrial backdrop shoot with my stang

My area used to be a ton of factories, and I had the car clean for a show yesterday.. been meaning to try some of these spots.

Yes my P&S stinks, but this was more a test of some spots. Full album, basically just bigger and other angles

Very nice shots! I grew up near Waterbury, CT. Used to be the brass center of the world. Lots of manufacturing, now gone. Sad.

WOW, must be Farrels? I worked in those areas and my wife is from Seymour. We moved out a long time ago (job) and I didn't look back. But I did go back for family visits. Decay.

Farrel is Ansonia, still standing but dunno about capacity. (I can't remember if they had other locations near by) Ansonia Copper & Brass next door is shutdown basically.

You wouldnt recognize the valley these days.

Downtown derby all the brick building along main street are gone, the factory right on 8 was knocked down & is now a Home Depot.

Seymour specialty wire factory along Rte 8 was knocked down and is now a Stop & shop

A bunch downtown Shelton have been knocked down for a park, and another was converted in to Condo's
