Oil light

This has probably been asked before, so I apologize for the repeat, but I just noticed that my oil pressure light stays on about 3-5 seconds after I start by 2005 Mustang GT. I may have just never noticed this before, but is this normal. Oil pressure reading high, and oil level full.
Thanks in advance for the response.

Mine doesn't have a oil light, just the gauge.

Its the light when you turn your key to the second position. I thought all cars have them. Once I turn the engine on, that light still glow for about 3 seconds. That's what I was trying to see if it was normal?

I have a temp light, but no oil can. I checked it 7 or 8 times just to be sure.

Discribe it.

I believe that you don't have the upgraded instrument dash. So that would be normal.
My dash has a temperature light as well as a temperature gauge. And that light comes on for about 3 seconds then goes off.
