You all know I like being different- Hence my side ponies and snakes etc etc.....
Last night I was taking my kid to her friends house, I pass a sonic blue six.......What's it got on its side windows? MY YELLOW PONIES IN SONIC BLUE!
Then I pass my black Gt Friend going back........PLUS the sonic again.
I go home, Pass a red six almost there. The teenage chick. She can't drive.
Go out to dinner; up the interstate and beyond in this order. TOO MANY! I was shocked and impressed.
Going north on 1-65 I pass these going south.
Sonic Six(she musta just got it)
Black Six
Redfire six
Red six
Redfire six
Bizarro Ellie-Bizarro Ellie hates me
Topless Ellie(gt vert)
White six
Redfire six
Everyone and their mother musta bought an 05 recently. I have never passed more than the same 3 gts and two sixes I always pal around with. These were all undiscovered ponies.
Popularity breeds WTFs.
Oh and I drag raced from a stop light my friends Scion TC, I finally
A) Did A standstill burnout
B)Beat the friggin thing- she says because she hit the rev limiter and it topped out.
c)Used up a quarter tank of gas in the process. Gas is like crystal meth to Ellie- she can't get enough of it.
I didn't get above the speed limit- it was merely a who can get to the speed limit quickest.

I didn`t get it to be different, I bought it because i loved it. And I still feel special everytime I drive it. Ellie is still special and unique because she is yours, and if other people are copying your car ,it is because you did a good job with yours.

I had a Scion xA try to rev, and race yesterday. I nearly died laughing 
, he had exhaust on it and everything !

I like hearing that people are seeing more and more of those Sonics. I have the only 05 one in my area, but I seen 2 04 sonics I want to see more :angry: .
I have seen so far on the road.
2 black V6, 1 redfire V6, 1 torch red V6, 1 windviel blue V6 , 1 Redfire GT, 1 Mineral Grey GT, 1 yellow V6 and a black GT vert topless

I am in Chattanooga, TN 100 miles from Atlanta and by a big surprise there is not many which is fine with me. I have seen a silver, black and white and all three colors in a V6 and GT. Kind of weird. Never seen the other colrs other than on the lots. At this time there is a total of 8 V6's on the lots no GT's

There's more GTs than V6s up here! Even AVIS rental cars has a Redfire GT (and a yellow V6 'vert) sitting on their lot near the airport. Still, 05 'Stangs are a rare sight though. I took mine down to a local cruise last night to check out the vintage tin and I had people circling my black GT all night!

Yeah def. up here there are not as many Mustangs in general (v6 and Gt) up north. I have seen maybe 10 at the MAX 6 v6 and 4 GT, including my own.

All the new 05 owners look at me like WTF? I thought I was the only one. I just shake my head and chuckle to myself, cause I used to think like that...

I see at minimum 3 a day, sometimes as many as 10 in a day. All different colors, although I gotta say the Sonic is a rare find. Verts, GTs, 6s, any combo therein. Pulled up next to a Windveil Blue V6 today on the way back from breakfast, and it was an older gentleman, three women passangers. I tried to wave and smile, but he seemed to be having far too much fun with his passangers! LOL
On the way to breakfast saw the newest GT on the block (literally), and I have been stalking this guy for WEEKS now. So, I try to get my husband to follow him, and he wont. Then says, "hunny, thats not the guy that lives down the street." I say, "Yes, it is. There are currently 4 Black GTs in our neighborhood, he is the ONLY one without plates yet." Hubby just shook his head... "Hunny, you have an illness. You really do.. how is it that you KNOW this poo about EVERY Mustang in the area???"
Ford commerical came on the radio, and I unconsciously sang along... I think my husband is ready to divorce me. Not only do I not mind seeing other 05s, I get all excited. "LOOK! Theres a Performance White 6!" I even have my daughter in on the game. "Mom, a Redfire.. I think GT just went the other way on the freeway.. The GTs have four light like yours, right?" When I wave, she says "Are all Mustang owners freaks like you?" kids...

There are exactly two sonics around here- one of each flavor-and MAN do they pop when you see them. beautiful color.
Three Limes- Two are sixes one is a gt
Two Min. Grey- one each
Two torches- one each
Three WB- a gt and two Sixes
5 Yellows- 3 sixes, one gt and a vert
1 white- gt
Two redfires- one each
Three Blacks- one Gt and some sixes
One Silver

Must depend on what part of the state your talking about. In my area I've seen about a 50/50 mix of GT to sixes. In fact there's a LL GT almost exactly like mine running around, and I also know of a Performance white, Mineral Grey and Black in my area. That makes 5 and I've see regularly and I live in a fairly rural area. However my dealer has sold considerably more than that.
