Well, remember the dealer video. It is possible he was allowed to take it for the weekend.

I guess that is pretty funny.

Well I would have at least thought about it, but you missed by about 13 days or so! Good April Fools attempt man.

Highly doubtful... especially in that area.

Around here... we do have a silver coupe rolling around uncovered and a few test mules, including the vert, still in camo. The mules look like heck and the camo is half falling out.

I saw a v6 unmasked but it was still kind of rough, the bumper covers were white the rest of the car was blue. I would love to see the finished product no camo, on the street. They test these cars near me often, I know of three times I have seen them myself. The first ones where in Lincoln bodies with mustang fronts. Near me we have one of the most steepest grades of interstate in the country.

Where are you from? I'm from Wyandotte, which is equally 15 mins away from Dearborn and Flat Rock... I see them all the time.

And darn, I'm not the only one smoking crack too then... I saw the Lincoln with the 05 Mustang front in on it too. It was at one of the buildings in Allen Park just before getting on Southfield freeway. I thought I was seeing things when I spotted that.

I don't buy it. First off, I must assume to get anywhere near a finished unreleased car he would have to be quite a big wig. Having such a large wig, i would assume he would do no such thing... I could be wrong... But I doubt it.

I might have believed this story if he had said it was covered in camo. Even all the coupes on the street still have camo, so there's no way they'd allow a 'vert out uncovered.
I saw a white 05 GT driving south on I-75 on the way home from work today. It had no camo. Unfortunately, I was headed north, so I didn't get a really good look at it. There was a black 99-04 following it.

No, I'm in NW Ohio. The way I figure it, most of the mainstream car mags are based around Ann Arbor, and they like to do road trips to southern Ohio. So if one of the mags has a road test of a white pre-production GT in about 3 months, that'll be the one I saw.

Did this White 05 have a yellow #003 sticker on the lower rocker panel?

If so, I'm thinking it could have been the white one that was in Nashville, and they were on their way there that night. I75S would have taken them to Knoxville and I40W to Nashville. I saw it there (as did everyone else) in the parking lot of the Nashville SuperSpeedway the next morning between 8 and 9 AM.

Sorry to break topic.

Why would a North Carolina Dealer have a vert before we see it somewhere else? A Dealer? Cool if true, but I don't believe it.
