ok so i got my h-pipe on today, with my motoblue r/s mufflers. let me just say that it is freaking LOUD!!!!! i love the new sound! its so raw and i love it. at idle and with barely any throttle it sounds almost the same as when i just had the motoblues on. when i step on it, it is insanely loud! it is a tad less raspy than the loudmouths/h-pipe. it also is a tad deeper than that combo. i do get a tad bit of trumpeting, but only at WOT and it is barely noticable, unlike with the slps. overall i love this combo and the new sound! best of all it only cost me about $320 altogether! i will try to get a clip up tomorrow and maybe some pics of it installed.

 

cant wait to see them pics and video. im thinkin about goin with an offroad xpipe and some controlled cutoffs.

 

i didnt post a vid today because i had an exhaust leak where the hpipe meets the left front header. once i fix this in the morning i will take a vid of it!

 

Alright, i finally got around to taking some videos. there is no way they can actually portray how loud the car is (because it is insane in person). it was really loud in those underpasses.

that idle rev takeoff video was one of the coolest videos i have seen made of a new stang. sounded great. but i really dug how it started with blackness and the sound of the motor, then the lights get your attentions. the brakelights illuminated the ground showing fin details of pebbles and stuff, and then the takeoff with a fade into oblivion. very very cool. that underpass looked exactly like the one on first ave in tucson az too. lol

haha thanks, that was the only place i can be certain to never see a cop or another car. it is a road that connects two highways and no one ever takes it, and there are no lights on the road. i didnt have a friend to hold the camera so that was the only place i felt safe leaving the camera. i also think i like that underpass way too much. it almost makes me go deaf when i have my windows down. i never punch it all the way because im scared i will come over the hill and just see a cop waiting for me haha.

 

thanks! it looks like i went a long ways, but i imagine i only went about a quarter mile tops. its extremely dark out there. your vids were what finally convinced me to get the h-pipe!
