I just placed my order for my V6 & minutes before we were thru the dealer shows me a sheet from Ford stating the Interior Upgrade Package will now only be available on the G.T. Anyone else hear about this? Can't see how the dealer could benefit from doing this. So instead of being really happy I'm just happy for now. Guess I'll have to change my avatar & hope for aftermarket kits.

Yes, this has been discussed in recent previous posts on the forum, and a lot of folks are disappointed. The demand for this option has well exceeded Ford's estimations, and the supplier (DELPHI) apparently can not meet the requirements. As a result, Ford restricted it to the higher end and lower demand GT's.

Thanks guys! Sorry if I re-hashed an old topic. Newbie here. Was just a little anxious & dissapointed so I panicked a bit, but all your answers make me accept it better. The plain interior doesn't look that bad to me now. I'll just miss the steering wheel treatment & MyColor. What the heck, I'm finally getting a MUSTANG!
