Well, Scarlett no longer has to see rain, traffic, etc. I bought myself a '99 Jeep Cherokee Sport which will now serve as my daily driver. Now I need to find some time to get her cleaned up real well. It is hard to do when you live in an apartment complex and it is soooo dang hot. Can't wash or wax in this heat.

Now that is a sweet ride... Windveil Blue?

Don't forget to bust out the Zaino!

My favorite line about the old Cherokees is when people would say "wow, that thing's pretty quiet for a diesel!" (of course, it's not a diesel... Jeep didn't believe in sound deadening apparently).

Enjoy though! I have a beater in my future as well, once it gets closer to winter.

If I was smart I'd set some $ aside for a beater. But I'm not and will just spend it on mods.

Yeah. I love the sound of that straight six. My dad has had one for 10 years, and he just loves it. It has like 190,000 miles on it now with little or no problems. It certainly is a clattery, diesel-esque sound.
