Night & Day... 2007 SGT
I've been a posting member on TMS for quite a while now, but I'll let this thread be my official introduction to the S-197 side of things. I've been the owner of a 1996 Cobra Convertible for almost two years.
Well I recently took ownership of my 2007 SGT #2849. This car is better than my Cobra in every way except the drop top lol, and that doesn't bother me a bit! I absolutely love this car and look forward to enjoying for a long time to come.

Dude...you have T-Bird SC? I feel bad for ya. I had one once. A 1990 5 speed. Sooooo much money gone

I am Dark Highland Green with envy - I LOVE the Shelby GTs. Did you get it for a good price? I noticed some people trying to get a killing for them since those bogus tales of used car prices spiking.
Reminds me of when Johnny Carson said one night that there was going to be a toilet paper shortage - my grandfather went out and bought cases of the good stuff and was planning on selling it to the neighbors - Hahahaha.

Haha, yep. She's for sale along with the Cobra. It's been a fun car, but I've had the mod bug with my cars for years and the SC's cost a fortune once you get past the basics. I always wished they had used the 4.0 later on instead of the POS 3.8. I would love to drive a 5-speed, that would be a blast!

Congrats man! Glad you finally found one. I'm pretty sure we talked on here when you were looking, seems like I gave you a link to a new one in Nebraska that only had about a 100 miles on it, but for the life of me I can't find the thread. At the time I had a Vista '08, but it's gone now . I moved on to a new toy and didn't have room to keep the SGT.
