Next Mustang Remodel?

What I think would be really neat is if Ford would gather all the old tooling and make a special addition pony of any year 65-69, pick one.
They would have smog and safety issues to work around, but a brand new original '66 GT 350 would be cool in my garage.

I would really like the rear of the car, where the taillights are, to have that inward curve to them, like a 67-68 model. Also, Highland Green would be a REAL smart idea. Just more colors in general would be great. I hate seeing only 8 or 9 colors to choose from. You had 15 colors for the first year, 22 colors in 1966, 25 the next year in '67, and 16 in 1968. With more colors to choose from, it would really make this car even more customizable, and personalizeable. The funny thing back then, with the exception of a few colors, most were all new colors each new model year. If you wanted to see the chart of colors, click on the link below. the colors are from 1965-1969.:

69-70 are the mustangs best years. Of course the 05 is a nice look as well but it still doesn't hit me like the old models did. US mfg's used to have such ideas and designs were different and attractive at the same time. If Ford only figures out why the mustang is selling as well as it does, maybe they will bring out other models that will seperate them from the boring models currently out there. I used to be able to tell just about any car coming down the road. Now they all look alike. You would have thought that those same people that grew up in the muscle car era would know what made those cars unique and why they sold.... Taurus, 500, camry, prelude....They all look alike.
