I just hope I dont read for example..."The all new 2034 Ford Mustang Hatchback" AHHHHH the foxes-hatchbacks have a place in my heart just because it's a mustang! But I never like'd the style.

Keep with the way they have been going....
Taking the staples of mustangs history, and adding it to a more up to date look.
Exactly what they did with the 05

, increase horsepower to 400 and make it do this while running off swear words. Or water.

That'd prolly keep the tuners on their toes!

Dear Santa,
I have been a very good boy this year. I sold my 88 Supercharged GT so that I could afford to insure a V6 Mustang with my 16-year-old son. When my new V6 arrives in a few weeks, I am not going to tell folks that I'm lacking two pistons (it's very embarrassing). When my boy gets a little older, I'm going to give him this car; isn't that nice of me?
What would I like for Christmas 2008? How about a nice new V8 Mach 1 Mustang with a shaker hood, with a nice big scoop, way out in the air stream. Let's make it real. A big rear wing would be great too. Again, get this up in the air stream so that it will work well. It should also have reduced gear ratio (like 4.10s should be nice, but at least 3.73s). Please lower it at least an inch, because I'm still afraid of heights. How about a shorter throw shifter? Also, please make the exhaust pipes louder than that too soft current GT. I am sure that Henry Ford would approve of all of this.
Cookies and milk again this year OK with you?
Love, little Brian.

I liked the chops with the sportsroof, like in 69-70. Along with some hips.
For the front, I'd love to see a slightly wider, narrower, grille.
I love how it looks now, but if you compare it to a '69, it looks very stubby.
Having these flow seamlessly would make a dream redesign for me.

I would argue that the 05 is more 65-66 in it's design, and that it'll go a little more 67-68 inspired on it's next redesign. Bigger grille, more "edgy". Not unlike the transition from 98-99.
