Next Mustang Remodel?

Jesus talk about stepping backward..the whole point of the new redesign was to make up for the horrible fox body's and the misfire on the 93-2004..We do not wanna go back there trust me..

Down the road, I'm not looking for Ford to make any styling changes.
They got that one part right.
What I'm looking for going forward is a world class car under that beautiful
exterior: real brakes, a real transmission, and, above all, an independent rear suspension.
Oh, almost forgot, get rid of that stupid antenna and 'dumbo' side mirrors.

I would bet the hips and ducktail are coming down the road in a few years and the hole puchout is there for a shaker so a mach 1 or a twister could be in the works .
Like Christmas I just can't wait

Only slight changes, nothing major. More refined similar to the concept with some "hips" and Shelby-style tail lights (at least for the uber-Cobra). Reduce the front grille opening and make the front sleeker. Overall, Ford hit a MAJOR homerun with the '05 style and I wouldn't want to see them mess it up!!

IRS would be nice. They got the core concept right on the money. Now just give us FRPP support from the dealer/factory and more options. Refine the car every year like the F-150 and you got yourself a winner, even more so than now.

I don't see how Ford can make the Mustang look better in my eyes. I sure hope I'm wrong!!!
But I DO want to see three little things on the remodel (or added to the S197):
1) A freaking "Oh crap" bar!
2) Interior trunk release. How much can a stinking button cost, anyway???
3) Glove box light.
(Ok, so four things!)
4) An underhood light.
All four of these items would add MAYBE $30 to the cost of the car (so maybe $100 to the final retail price). The lack of these items just screems "cheap" on what is otherwise a VERY nice car.
