Thanks for the great advice on the car. I have not had time to clean the TB as of yet. I build high performance differentials and have been busy

The car needed tires pretty bad and I had the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 on my short list of tires to buy. I was at my local Ford dealer asking for a price quote on tires when I spotted a new set of take off GT wheels with Perelli tires on display. The wheels are the silver 5 spoke painted aluminum style. They made me a deal I could not refuse so I bought them.
I had them mount the new wheel/tires and do an alignment. I am not feeling the new wheels on the car as the wheels are nearly the same color of the car. I am going to have the Perelli tires mounted on the Billet wheels once I repair the bit of curb rash on a few of them.

The asking price on these cars are all over the map. Your friends car at a dealer could see a asking price of $20k. Depending on if he has a deluxe or premium pkg will also influence price. The car IMO should fetch $18k for the low miles.

I can see that too since his is a premium. In Nov. I picked up my 08 Gt premium vert (17,000 miles) for less than $18k (private) and he sees that and makes him wonder if his thoughts are to high. Once he really decides to sell, it will take a bit to move at the higher dollar but he has the time. Just hope he does not decide to trade it.....thanks.

FWIW, I bought my Premium 06 GT Vert, Black with Tan interior and top last year for $13K. It had 82k on the odo but she looks and rides like new.

I'm guessing you bought it private as dealers ask quite a bit more (at least here in Florida) for them. We bought private and $aved, we paid a bit less than you but the car needed tires and a service. Condition of the car was still great so I feel we got a great buy and have peace of mind knowing the service was done right
Good luck and enjoy
