I could hear the engine just fine.
Gus--what was up with the differential where they were changing out the bearings? Saw the pics of this car earlier on the site, then it disappeared. I don't see it on Steeda's new vehicle offerings either. Got any more vids?

We are running much higher power levels in today's race car than we were back then and we are regularly checking the rear end during races. Turns out we did need to replace a pinion bearing over the weekend so its a good thing we checked. We hope to eventually get the same durability we were eventually able to extract out of the 95 Cobra R's but time will tell.
From what we learned in the IMSA Cobra R program gave us invaluable info for durability. Racers like Tom Ellis have used that expertise to run reliably for years. Other than fluid changes, Tom has not had to touch the rear end in his race car in 4 years, and has won 4 southeast division championships and gone to the national runoffs with what we set up for him.
Hopefully we can tame the 05+ rear end at these much higher horsepower numbers to that level of reliability as we continue with our program.

You always have little issues when you are heavily racing a vehicle. Back in our IMSA days with the 95 Cobra R we also had some rear end durability issues that took time to resolve.
