New shocks for stock 06 GT Vert - help

My 06 GT Vert has about 20,000 miles and the ride has noticeably deteriorated.
New shocks are needed.

My car is TOTALLY stock. I want to leave it that way (for now).
Looks like the Tokico HP series would be a good choice.

Opinions?

Also, where would be the best source for these shocks?

Thanks !

Go to hotpart.com, they seem to have the best deals on this stuff. Also, why stay stock? If you're going to replace the shocks, might as well redo the springs too! Look at something that doesn't have a harsh drop and you won't have to do any major realignment. When you replace the shocks, you'll have to do a realignment anyway, so just kill two birds with one stone and get rid of the 4x4 look.

Thanks

But NOT looking fo OEM parts.
Maybe the question should be - what shock / spring package would anyone recommend ?
Not looking for anyting 'harsh' - just a bit more sporty from OEM.

Thanks

Glenn

Many thanks.
Suggestions for springs that would improve the looks and ride without compromising ride?

Why would you have to do an alignment after replacing the shocks?

You have to disconnect a lot of things on the front end to replace the front struts. You can skip the alignment...if you want to...
