Yeah, I saw that it was part of that article but who knows? I had my info before I even saw that piece but I did think it was interesting.

Hey that's cool man - I just want a new Mach 1 so we can have the ACTUAL car to debate about!

I just don't see the 4.6 dohc as being that big a power increase over the 3v if its NA. It is aluminum though. I would still bet on the 5.4 NA, more bang for the buck.

The 4.6L 3V is all aluminum too.

The 4V could be tuned for more HP, maybe 30 more peak HP than the 3V, but it would be difficult to get more torque out of the 4V vs the 3V.

However there is still more HP to be had out of the 3V.

I would MUCH rather see a 5.4 N/A in the Mach as opposed to the 4.6 DOHC S/C ... Just my two cents..

Add my two cents to this one.

I have been theorizing that the blown 4.6 terminator would be used in an upcoming SE for some time, but I was thinking it would end up in a Boss, if made...

Guess I missed the mark on that one...

the potential of the 4.6 terminator means that a ~$30K SE could easily compete with a stock $40+ GT500, without the fear of damaging collectability...

oh yeah

EDIT: Oh yeah, and personally I would much prefer the forged internals of the terminator than an NA 5.4 with stock and fra-gee-lay internals...my .02
