Umm... I don't want to burst any bubbles, but they had pics of the 05 with lamps very much like those. I noticed because I also thought they looked nicer. I decided that they were pre-production shots.

You can see a pic of the car in the 2005 dealer brochure. It's the silver one just inside the cover or click here.

I am not saying that those lamps WON'T be on the 06, just that I wouldn't count on them until you see more "production" photos with them.

If they do, then that's great - 'cause I would love to get them.

the picture on the right is a marketing rendering of the pre production V6 pony package minus the horizonial pony coral bar.
I don't think so. Why would they show the V6 pony package on a GT?

I can clearly see the difference in headlights but like many have said it isn't the production model so things could change.

But these headlights and foglights are soooo much nicer than the 05's
I'm so thankful that I'm in a local Mustang Club full of classics and late models alike where everyone gets along and supports each other (regardless of year) and 'haters aren't welcomed. They all love the Mustang, period.

THAT's the Mustang legacy. THAT's the Mustang Community. Sadly, there are many who simply don't understand. But they don't have to... so there we are.

Congratulations to all the future '06 owners. The tire pressure monitoring system is a great addition. And Grats to the '07 owners after that. I look forward to seeing the improvements that future models bring! The future looks bright for the Pony!

my headlights (low beams) stink on my '05 (got worse when I lowered it) yet to adjust, BUT I have heard others complaining about the brightness and for me the cut off on the top side of beam

just maybe Ford is aware of this and did a simple reflector and or bulb update, this is not uncommon

the best thing would be for someone to find out if the part number changed. If the P/N is different, then we have new headlights.
